Student Hub: Wellbeing & Diversity

WELLBEING & DIVERSITY

Counselling

Your campus provides free and confidential counselling to all face-to-face and online students enrolled in Australia. This non-judgmental service does not diagnose; we only listen and help you explore areas of concern and work on strategies that can assist you.

Disability Support

Our Disability Services help you gain access to reasonable adjustments and can provide advice to any students regarding support services.

Indigenous students

We acknowledge that our campuses are on the traditional lands of Aboriginal people, and we pay respects to their elders past, present and emerging.

Respect. Now. Always.

We are committed to creating a healthy, safe and respectful culture that embraces and celebrates the diversity of our community of students and staff.

Student Safety and Security

“Torrens University & THINK Education is committed to the health and safety of all people who work, study, visit our campuses and other workplaces or have the potential to be affected by our activities”.

Pride

Torrens University supports the needs of all our students to ensure they all have an equal opportunity for success. We are committed to creating a culture that both welcomes and embraces diversity (on campus and online). This commitment extends to include staff, students and community who are sexually diverse and have diverse gender identities, including, but not limited to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and Allied.

Sports and Events

As a member of Unisport Australia, Torrens University has access to many sporting events and student opportunities. We seek to promote a health, engaged and active lifestyle for our students and encourage participation at any level.
