What can I expect?

We are all about helping you build a community around you while you study at Torrens University and Think Education. That is why we have integrated MyLearn with Microsoft Teams, making it your go-to-place for chatting and connecting with others.

By downloading Microsoft Teams you can:

  • Log onto your online classes
  • Easily share files with others
  • Chat, connect and collaborate with your Learning Facilitators, classmates and others within the university

You can also expect:

  • Assessment feedback provided through video
  • Mobile-friendly
  • Calendars where you can see when your assessments are due
  • A fully accessible platform for students who have additional needs
  • Collaborating with others using OneNote
  • Being able to search transcripts of recorded online classes

When can I access MyLearn

We are gradually transitioning all subjects from Blackboard into MyLearn. From July 2024, everyone studying at Torrens will be using MyLearn in place of Blackboard.

Trimester 1, 2024 + Term 1B

Students in a Design & Creative Technology course, or subject, will be completing subjects on MyLearn from T1 2024. Go to MyLearn.

Trimester 2, 2024

Students in a Business, Education, Hospitality and Health course will use MyLearn for all subjects from T2 2024. Go to MyLearn.

BMIHMS Terms 3, 2024

Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School students will be using MyLearn form Term 3, 2024.

Give GuideMe, the in app platform tool a go. GuideMe is a 24/7 tool that can provide step-by-step prompts to help you become familiar with MyLearn.

Just look for the GuideMe icon in the MyLearn global menu.

Canvas Student app: Android | iOS | Click on ‘Find my school’ then search for Torrens MyLearn to log in.
