This short course prepares you for success in our Health courses and for university level study.
The modules in this course cover basic topics in mathematics, chemistry, biology and physiology which will help you meet the “assumed knowledge” for your tertiary study in a broad range of fields.
These may include Health Science, Herbal Medicine, Nursing, Naturopathy, Chinese Medicine, Nutrition and more. Developing your knowledge and study skills in this program can help you build your confidence prior to commencing further studies or may be used for revision during your course of study.
You will be guided by your learning facilitator, and will explore the resources provided to you on Blackboard, participate in class activities, and have opportunities to ask questions.
If you did not study science at HSC level, if you studied science but a long time ago and need a refresher course, or if you need to gain more confidence in this area, this program is for you.
Science for Success in the Health Professions is an excellent preparation that equips you with skills to successfully transition from high school to a diploma or degree.
