What is Brainfuse?
Brainfuse is Torrens University and Think Education’s 24/7 academic tutoring service.

Brainfuse has both synchronous (live) services and asynchronous resources such as practice quizzes.
Brainfuse can be used to support your academic writing, develop content knowledge and meet with peers for study groups.
A maximum of 100 minutes of free access to live, synchronous services, per year is available to each student; approximately 6 x 15 minute interactions. There is unlimited access to asynchronous services such as:
- Personalised Skills Building
- Test Prep
- Create your own flash-cards
- ... and more.
Live services include the Writing Lab, Submit a Question, and Live Help (Instant Tutoring). Use of these services will be deducted from your allocated minutes (100 mins p.a.). Refer to: How To Use The Writing Lab
The use of Brainfuse live services relies on careful decision making as to when to use the service. Every Writing Lab submission automatically deducts 35 minutes from your 100 minute allocation per year.
Tip: Why not use less minutes through interacting with a live tutor and get some advice on a small piece of writing or skill and then apply it to your paper or assessment?
Live Help, with a Brainfuse tutor is deducted by the minute only. For example, if you seek assistance from a live tutor for 11 minutes then that is all that is deducted from your 100 minutes.
