Student Hub: Counselling

What is counselling?

Counselling can help you with personal challenges and feelings such as stress and anxiety, loneliness and isolation, loss or grief, homesickness, family and relationship conflict, thoughts of suicide and other problems that impact your ability to cope with university life or be your best self.

Counsellors are non-judgmental and do not diagnose; they listen and help you explore areas of concern and work on strategies that will help you get through your studies. Counselling provides a confidential and neutral place to freely express your needs and concerns.

Access counselling support

To access counselling support (up to 6 sessions with the same counsellor), please register with our counselling service by completing a CARE form.

Providing some brief details about your needs will assist the counselling team to make sure that you are connected with the most appropriate support.
