Have a think about the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) - a career that provides you with opportunities and literally takes you places.
DFAT manages Australia’s international presence - a network of over 116 offices (embassies) across five continents. We have more than 6,000 staff located in Australia and overseas. These staff ensure the advancement of Australia’s international interests, the protection and welfare of Australians abroad, and a safe Australian Government presence overseas.
If you’ve ever wondered what a diplomat, free trade negotiator, humanitarian, or consular officer does, come along and hear about DFAT’s Graduate Program and how your degree in STEM, data, economics, or business could play a crucial role in advancing Australia’s interests internationally.
There will be a presentation followed by a Q&A session.
DFAT is an inclusive workplace, and we encourage First Nations students and students with a disability to attend.
Please note: Candidates for the DFAT Graduate Program must be Australian citizens at the time of application.
Don't miss this chance to network and gain insights into the world of international relations.
See you there!
