Campus community

The Campus Life Team organise, promote and manage on-campus as well as off-campus events for Leura students.

These events include beach days, winery and brewery visits, bushwalking, native fauna zoo visits, complimentary tickets to sporting and music events, visits from personal trainers, therapy dog visits, massage and beauty therapist visits, movie nights on campus, games nights, and more!

Along with the fun aspects of Campus Life, we also support you with:

  • Encourage a sense of belonging, particularly to the online students, to the BMIHMS family
  • Support students who are learning online
  • Mentor the Student Representative Council (SRC) team members and Mentoring Scholarship Students (MSS) for Campus Life team
  • Facilitate the process of students reaching necessary support staff on campus
  • Encourage and promote students to conduct an open and professional dialogue with their fellow students and staff regarding campus matters
  • Act as the conduit for those students seeking support for their academic or non-academic challenges
  • Acknowledge and support international students with challenges they may experience with understanding the Australian culture
  • Encourage a culture of belonging, inclusivity, and equality for both the on-campus and online student community
