Student Hub: Subject Outlines

Need a subject outline?

You're in the right place!

Subject outlines are like roadmaps for students in their courses. They have useful information such as learning resources, assessments and subject learning outcomes.

Reading through your subject outline can assist you with staying organised and on top of your workload.

Once you have read your outline, you will have an idea of how much time to assign to each assessment task, the minimum requirements to pass the subject, and what to expect each week.

Find a subject outline

If you are currently enrolled in a subject, or were enrolled in the past, you will find the outline in your online learning platform: MyLearn or Blackboard.

Help and tips

  • Search by typing your subject code. Example - FA101A for Fashion Illustration. You can check the subject code on your course structure.
  • Double check the subject code or name at your course page.
  • The subject may not show if it was delivered a few years ago or if the course is no longer offered.
  • Refresh the page, or delete the code in the search bar, to look for another subject outline.

Please contact Student Support if you cannot find the subject outline here.

Reminder:

Subject outlines and assessment schedules are reviewed regularly and may be updated.

If you are currently enrolled in a subject, always check your online learning platform (MyLearn or Blackboard) for the assessment due dates.
