As a student, it’s important to understand your rights and responsibilities within our learning community. We’re committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where you can reach your academic goals and feel supported every step of the way.

Student conduct and expected behaviour

Torrens University Australia (TUA) and Think Education are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive, and academically supportive environment for all students. The following outlines key policies and expectations that guide student behaviour and promote a safe and productive learning experience.

Students are expected to follow several core policies that guide appropriate behaviour and protect the well-being of the institution community.

These include:

  • Academic Integrity Policy - promotes honesty and fairness in academic work.
  • Diversity and Inclusion Policy - ensures all students are treated with respect and dignity.
  • Sexual Misconduct Prevention Policy - protects against inappropriate and unlawful behaviour.
  • Student Conduct Policy & Student Conduct Guidelines for the Residential Campus - outlines behavioural expectations, including for those in residential campuses.

Think Education

Code of Conduct

This framework outlines the behavioural standards students are expected to follow across five key areas:

  • Honesty and integrity - maintain academic honesty, follow policies, and engage responsibly in learning.
  • Courtesy and respect - treat others with respect and avoid disruptive or harmful behaviour.
  • Appropriate use of resources - use institution resources responsibly and avoid illegal or unsafe actions.
  • Fair treatment - avoid any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying.
  • Social media - use social media responsibly, respecting privacy, laws, and institution policies. TUA/Think Education may moderate or restrict access to its official social platforms when these standards are breached.
