Student Hub: Course Completion

This page explains what happens after your final subjects results are released, including how your eligibility to complete your course is reviewed, when your status will update, and the timeframes you can expect for receiving your official documents and award conferral.

The process includes:

  1. Eligibility review - the process for checking your results, course credit, and recognition of prior learning are checked to make sure you have completed all required subjects for the course.
  2. Status update - when your enrolment status will change to Completed Pending.
  3. Official documents - when you can access to your digital completion letter and academic transcript via My eQuals.
  4. Conferral - when your qualification is formally endorsed by the relevant academic and governing boards.

Please note: No exceptions will be made to the established completion process or timeline.

Important - You will NOT be eligible to graduate if you do not have a USI, or have not provided one to us, at the time of course completion.

If you do not have a USI, or haven’t provided one to us, please do so as soon as possible. Find out how!

Update your details

To change your details you can do it yourself if you still have access to the portal. If not, please complete the change of details form and send it to us.

Note: If you are updating your name, you will need to provide a Change of Name Certificate, Marriage Certificate, or Divorce Certificate.

Note: Please make sure your address is up to date so we can ensure we are posting any requested documents to the correct location.

Downgrade & early exit awards

Students have the option at the point of withdrawal to request exit with a lower level qualification, this will mean if your course has any nested awards we can check your eligibility for them. For example, if you’re studying a Masters, it may have the option for you to exit with a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma.

Ensure you tick this option when requesting to withdraw, or if already withdrawn notify us.

Your enrolment will be withdrawn and then assessed against the lower level courses to see if you meet the requirements. If you do, you will be notified via email and your enrolment will then be put through the course completion process as outlined above.
