Finished your course? End of 2023 information

Congratulations! If you require a completion letter, there are still a few steps for us to complete before we can issue this to you.

  • The University will review your student record and confirm you have met all the requirements of the course.
  • If so, you will be identified as a potential graduand and notified of the update via your student email.
  • Once you have received this email you can then request this document.
  • This means that this document won't be available when results are released.

Note: Our end of year break is from 16 December 2023 to 1 January 2024, so your course completion documents may not be available until mid-January.

After the results are released for your final study period, we will need to confirm that you’ve completed all the requirements of your course.

Review process

Examination Committee and Academic Board confirms that you have met all course requirements.

Change of status

Your student status will be changed to 'Completed Pending' in the Student Portal.

Graduation invite

A Graduation Ceremony invitation will be sent to you. Check the Graduation page for more info.

Exam Committee and Program Director confirm that all course requirements have been met

Completion documents process

Completion documents are issued within 30 days.

What do I get after completing?

Higher Education graduands:

  • Completion Letter
  • Academic Transcript
  • Testamur

VET graduands:

  • Statement of Attainment
  • Academic Transcript
  • Testamur 

Update your details

To change your details you can do it yourself if you still have access to the portal. If not, please complete the change of details form and send it to us.

Note: If you are updating your name, you will need to provide one of the following:

  • Change of Name Certificate
  • Marriage Certificate
  • Divorce Certificate

Note: Please make sure your address is up to date so we can ensure we are posting any requested documents to the correct location.

Completion Letter

A Completion Letter is an official letter from the University showing that you have completed the necessary requirements of your course.

Academic Transcript

An Academic Transcript is a formal record of subjects undertaken at the University. You can request one at any time.

Testamur

Also known as a 'Parchment' or 'Certificate'. Testamurs are the legal document that confirms your degree has been conferred (awarded).
