Our mental health commitment for safe learning environments

  • Promote student mental health and wellbeing
  • Support the mental health and wellbeing of our students
  • Reduce the impact of mental health problems including the effects of stigma
  • Educate and provide students with information and resources needed to take greater control of their mental health and wellbeing
  • Create a safer community for our students where they are mentally supported.

Our committment to you

Torrens Global Education (TGE), comprising Torrens University Australia and Think Education, is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all students. The University’s Student Mental Health and Wellness Framework has been developed in accordance with the World Health Organisation Health Promoting University Framework.

We care about your mental health and wellbeing. We are committed to listening, understanding and providing safe and supportive community for all our students. We do this by combining existing strategies for the health and wellbeing of the university community and by offering opportunities to university staff and students to collaborate, coordinate, and participate in healthy activities and projects.

You can make a report on behalf of yourself, someone else or anonymously, and it could relate to any of the following: 

  • Sexual Misconduct
  • Bullying and/or discrimination
  • Harassment and/or stalking
  • Family/intimate partner violence
