Once your final result is ratified, your Program Director will review your grades, including course credit and recognition of prior learning, to confirm that you meet the overall requirements of your course.

To be eligible to graduate, you must meet the following criteria:  

1. Completed all the required subjects based on your course architecture.

2. Have no outstanding fees on your enrolment.

3. Must have provided a verified USI number.

* The date the final results are released may not be the published results release date depending on supplementary assessments, final submissions or extensions due dates.

Once it is confirmed you have met the requirements of the course rules, you will be identified as a Graduand. You will receive a notification email to your student email address and your enrolment status will update to ‘Completed Pending’ in your Student Portal.

Within 24-48 hours of receiving the notification email above, you will receive an email from the My eQuals platform that your digital completion letter and academic transcript are available on the My eQuals platform.

If it is the first time we have issued you a document via My eQuals, you will receive an email with instructions on how to setup your My eQuals account and access your documents. Get more information about My eQuals.

Please note: Students with incomplete results or are appealing a failed final result/s may not be assessed during this period which may impact their eligibility to attend an upcoming graduation ceremony or to graduate in absentia by a certain date. Please refer to cut off dates for approval prior to conferral of awards.

All students are assigned to a graduation ceremony based on their course enrolment campus. For online students this is based on your home address we have on your student record.

Participants that wish to defer their graduation date to the next graduation ceremony must do so in writing to the Graduations team at graduation@torrens.edu.au and prior to the RSVP date. A request for a deferral of an Event will be granted once per Participant only, and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. TGES reserves the right to deny any such requests in which case a graduand will be deemed to graduate in absentia.

You will receive your Testamur at the Graduation ceremony. Within (5 days of the graduation ceremony) an email will be sent to your student email address notifying you when the electronic copy of your Testamur and Academic Transcript will be available in My eQuals.
