Clinic Requirements

T1-2019 Clinic Induction Session: Save the date - Friday 22nd February

All new students or students that will enter into clinic for the first time in Trimester 1 are required to attend a compulsory Clinic Induction Session on Friday 22nd February at 9:00 am to - 2:00 pm.

This event is compulsory for:

  • all students that are new to clinic practicum in Trimester 1, 2019, or;
  • those returning to clinic practicum from an extended period of leave (12 + months)

*All other current clinic students also wishing to attend can register their interest with clinic reception, however, attendance is not required.

Block Credits

Block credits are set qualification upgrades and pathways to a degree, for example; from an Advanced Diploma to a Bachelor of Health Science course. Information about guaranteed block credit agreements can be found here.

Enrolment

Enrolment at the Southern School of Natural Therapies is conditional on adherence to the policies and procedures published at Think Education: Policies and procedures. In particular, please refer to the Admissions Policy and Enrolment and Attendance Policy

How to enrol

Online (domestic students only): Enrol online via MySSNT. Check the Online Enrolment Guide for instructions.

Paper-based (domestic & international students): Enrol using the paper enrolment forms. Submit enrolment forms to Student Services in person or by mail.

Once your enrolment (online or paper-based) is finalised by Student Services a confirmation of class enrolment will be sent to your email within 48 hours.

Trimester 1 2018 enrolment

Enrolment for T1 and summer school  will open on Wednesday 21st November at 12pm midday.

Check your @ssnt.think.edu.au email account for updates over the coming weeks!

Your Success Coaches will be available from week 8 to help create a study plan for you. Contact Student Services to book an appointment.

Working with Children Check and First Aid

We require all students practicing in the Think Wellbeing Centre to have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid Certificate before they commence any clinic work.

Clinic students will be required to submit to Student Services a certified copy of their Working  With Children Card and First Aid Certificate before commencing the trimester. You may also provide the original and have it certified on-campus.
