This event is compulsory for all students that are new to clinic practicum in Trimester 3, 2019 OR are returning to clinic practicum from an extended period of leave (12 + months)
Further details will be emailed to you shortly if you are required to attend. Please note students enrolled in pre-clinical subjects are not required to attend, this event is for students who will be treating clients in the Think Wellbeing Centre for the first time in Trimester 3.
You can select your subjects each trimester using the "Register for Classes" tool in your new Student Portal. Instructions and user guides are available here.

Policies

Subject selection opens on Wednesday 13th November.
You can enrol and register for classes in your Student Portal.
We recommend that you use the Student Portal to select your subjects.
However, if you need to submit a paper enrolment form, due to prerequisite waivers, please complete and return the form to Student Services along with your study plan and/or an email confirmation of the waiver from your Program Director.
We require all students practicing in the Think Wellbeing Centre to have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid Certificate before they commence any clinic work.
Clinic students will be required to submit to Student Services a certified copy of their Working With Children Card and First Aid Certificate before commencing the trimester. You may also provide the original and have it certified on-campus.
Please note that you can complete the required application on the Working With Children Check website.

The Unit of Competency HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid is sufficient. You must provide a copy of your current certificate to Student Services.
