The best people to help you first off are your Course and Career Advisor, or if you are an International Student dealing with an International Recruitment Advisor you can chat to them.
Alternatively, you can jump onto the website and select your courses. Firstly go to the Subject Selection page and choose your course structure. Review the recommended study plan and then select the Subject Selection tool to choose your classes.
As soon as you are enrolled in your course that’s when we can help out, so please get in contact with your Success Coach then.
Not all subjects every trimester are timetabled. Use the recommended study plan to see if there are any electives or other subjects that you can take. If you do need help deciding, then please contact your Success Coach for a suggested revised study plan.
If you find that the classes you want to take are full, please ensure you place yourself on the waiting list. You will receive an email within seven days informing you if there is a place available. Make sure you have a backup subject just in case. Again, if you need support in revising your study plan, contact your Success Coach.
Some subjects have prerequisites because you are required to take subjects in a particular sequence. If you wish to take a subject that is out of sequence then you must get permission from your Program Director.

Please remember that if you have not made payment by the due date you will lose access to your learning portal (Blackboard) until all overdue fees are paid in full.

You Success Coach can certainly help you with strategies for study success in terms of helping you to revise your study plan, directing you towards resources, information and further support.
To discuss your results you can make an appointment with your Program Director. You can find the list of Program Directors in your Course page under the Academic team.
Success Coaches are not trained in Academic Skills, each campus has dedicated Learning Support to help you with improving your writing, planning and study skills. You can find more details on who they are and what is on offer here.
Success Coaches are trained in helping you with setting career and study goals. However, we have trained Counsellors based on each Campus and online who can offer free and confidential counselling to help you and all students enrolled in Australia. For more information go to the Counselling page.
Success Coaches do not have the authority to act on requests that involve changes to your course. Any changes to your course must be handled by Student Services. Please contact them directly either at your local campus.
If you are an international student please contact your Program Director directly to discuss changes to your study load as it is a visa condition that you must stay on a full-time study load. You can find the list of Program Directors in your Course page under the Academic team. For non-International students you can complete a form to request a change to your study mode, but please have a chat to your Success Coach who can help you with a revised study plan.
