Join us for design software workshops, facilitated by one of our design lecturers. These sessions are delivered online, so you can attend these sessions from anywhere!
You will receive assistance with developing or up-skilling existing skills in a range of software.
  • Our 1:1 Q&A sessions are aimed at providing students with personalised help on using the Adobe programs.

Every Wednesday at 10 am Andy will be answering questions and demonstrating best practice by working on real live video projects in this editing and VFX workshop. Learning AutoCAD for the first time and feeling a little overwhelmed? Wanting to take AutoCAD skills you already have and push them to the next level? Want help with drawing documentation and conventions? Having trouble using AutoCAD for your assessments?

Join us for our weekly AutoCADworkshops on Tuesdays, facilitated by one of our interior design lecturers! This Trimester, the workshops will be run by Eliza Binney. You will receive assistance with developing or up-skilling your existing skills in AutoCAD.

Working on presentations and want to create better renders? Want to be able to show lecturers (and clients) your big ideas through 3d views? Want to work out which rendering technique is best to use for your particular project?

Join us for our weekly Digital Rendering workshops on Fridays, facilitated by one of our interior design lecturers! This Trimester, the workshops will be run by Eliza Binney. You will receive assistance with developing your own rendering style using a rename of different techniques and programs.

SketchUp Workshops T3, 2020

Are you brand new to SketchUp or looking to build upon your existing SketchUp Skills? 
Need help to make sure that you're using SketchUp to industry standard? Having trouble using SketchUp for your assessments?

With this series you can become a 3D modelling Pro in no time at all. Over the 9 sessions we will start from the very basics and work our way through to intermediate and advanced skills by the end of the term. 

The Online SketchUp workshops will be run by Greg Lawson and run from 4-5pm (Eastern Time) every Tuesday from Week 3 - Week 11 inclusive.

 Fashion Design Workshop, T3 2020 [Week 6 & 7]

Having trouble drawing fashion flats in Illustrator?

Join this 2-part workshop run over weeks 6 & 7 by Danielle Morrish. The workshops are aimed to provide fashion students with assistance in drawing fashion flats using Adobe Illustrator.

You will learn how to maximise the pen tool, organise layers, utilise the pathfinder, create custom symbol libraries and pick up techniques for working faster to increase your productivity.

Welcome to Adobe Workshop

To ensure you and your computer are ready to start in week 1, watch this introductory workshop that will take you through the basic difference between each Adobe program and how to install them on your computer. You will also be introduced to LinkedIn Learning, where you will find useful video tutorials to help you with aspects of your assessments and module activities.

Software Skills workshops, T3 2020 [Weeks 1-12]

Having trouble using Adobe Software? Don't know your InDesign from your Photoshop?

Join us for design software workshops, facilitated by one of our design lecturers. These sessions are delivered online, so you can attend these sessions from anywhere!

You will receive assistance with developing or up-skilling existing skills in a range of software.

  • Our 1:1 Q&A sessions are aimed at providing students with personalised help on using the Adobe programs.
  • Our drop in activity -based sessions are aimed at completing set activities using a range of the Adobe programs.
  • Make sure you have the latest version of the Adobe Creative Suite installed on your computer.
  • Please arrive on time for your session.
  • If attending activity-based workshop, please download the activity file prior to the session time.

Digital Media Workshops, T3 2020 [Weeks 2-12]

New for Trimester 3 2020! 

Join us for Digital Media software workshops, facilitated by one of our design lecturers. These workshops are delivered online, so you can attend these sessions from anywhere!

This Trimester, we'll be running two workshops for Digital Media. Please ensure that you are logged in 10 minutes before the workshop starts. 

Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects: Do you have questions about your projects in Adobe Premiere or After Effects? Are you having workflow issues? Can't seem to get the narrative flow working right? Every Wednesday at 10 am Andy will be answering questions and demonstrating best practice by working on real live video projects in this editing and VFX workshop. Come along and ask questions, show Andy your projects or just watch him using the software.

Maya and Houdini: Join this workshop and ... 1. Review and learn common 3D Workflows 2. Get help and support for any 3D, VFX related questions or difficulties. Click here for a schedule of what each week's Workshop will cover.

SKETCHUP WORKSHOPS [Weeks 2-12]

Need help to make sure that you're using SketchUp to industry standard? Having trouble using SketchUp for your assessments?

Join us for our weekly SketchUp workshops on Mondays, facilitated by one of our interior design lecturers! This Trimester, the workshops will be run by Wen Fitzgerald. You will receive assistance with developing or up-skilling your existing skills in SketchUp.

Make sure you have the latest version of SketchUp Pro or SketchUp Make installed on your computer.

Learning AutoCAD for the first time and feeling a little overwhelmed? Wanting to take AutoCAD skills you already have and push them to the next level? Want help with drawing documentation and conventions? Having trouble using AutoCAD for your assessments?

Join us for our weekly AutoCADworkshops on Tuesdays, facilitated by one of our interior design lecturers! This Trimester, the workshops will be run by Eliza Binney. You will receive assistance with developing or up-skilling your existing skills in AutoCAD.

RENDERING WORKSHOPS [Weeks 6-12]

Working on presentations and want to create better renders? Want to be able to show lecturers (and clients) your big ideas through 3d views? Want to work out which rendering technique is best to use for your particular project?

Join us for our weekly Digital Rendering workshops on Fridays, facilitated by one of our interior design lecturers! This Trimester, the workshops will be run by Eliza Binney. You will receive assistance with developing your own rendering style using a rename of different techniques and programs.

Are you studying the Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration and need help? Come to our weekly mentor sessions, beginning Week 1!

Run by one of our interior design lecturers, you'll receive: 

  • drop-in help
  • questions answered
  • development of skills

 Sessions are held every Friday, 10 am -12 pm AEST (AEDST from 4 October onwards) and will be run by Stephen Dwyer

Game Design Workshop, T3 2020 [Weeks 2-12]

Join us for our Game Design workshop, facilitated by one of our design lecturers. These workshops are delivered online, so you can attend these sessions from anywhere!

Having trouble with Substance, Maya or a game engine like Unity & Unreal? Need some pointers in getting the most from them to complete your Assessments or personal projects? Join us each week for an ad-hoc problem solving session! All questions and problems welcome.

Workshops will be held every Monday from 3 - 4 pm AEST and will be run by Danny McGillick. Please ensure that you are logged in 10 minutes before the session starts.
