Student Hub: Student Representative Council

As students, we're all here to gain skills and pursue our career goals.

The ability to bring our thoughts and ideas directly to management, and to exist in an inclusive community can help make our study experience great.

Your Student Representative Council (SRC) works together to make our community a better place. We achieve this by working within our three pillars: Community, Advocacy and Decision Making.

Community

We are committed to creating a welcoming campus environment that respects and celebrates diversity and inclusivity.

We run a variety of events and workshops that create opportunities to network and build relationships with fellow students (and have some fun!)

Advocacy

We offer meaningful support to any student facing difficulty during the course of their study. Where appropriate, we can refer you to the relevant campus team member to help reach a solution.

We aim to deal with feedback in a positive manner that shows both respect for the campus and empathy for the student involved.

Decision Making

We are invited to campus management meetings each trimester and are consulted on key decisions that impact the student experience.

Working collaboratively with the campus management team and staff we strive to make the campus a better place for all.

Student Experience Ambassadors

If you decide to join your local SRC, you have the potential to apply for one of our Student Experience Ambassador (SEA) roles.

This is a paid opportunity where students work closely within the student community space, assisting with tasks such as social media, communications, sports programs, and a wide variety of other projects.
